Haven’t read thread since Friday.  But gonna be at a big store in 15 minutes.  If u need anything, reply with title.  They only allow one title at a time for purchase.

not sure if you cut off your searching or not,  it's a long shot but if you come across a Led Zeppelin 7" i'm still looking for one. thanks for trying to help people out even if you don't find anything.

  2. Jersey City has its spot. i would put it in the top 5 of worst places in NJ. if you stay in Journal Square you'll be ok. here is a good article about places to avoid in Jersey City. http://thepeacockpress.wordpress.com/2012/03/29/police-stay-out-of-the-red/

like others have said Hoboken in incredibly expensive and it's full of obnoxious people. where you'll be looking in Hoboken is where everyone wants to live, so you'll pay a premium. Hoboken also has issues with flooding, the biggest being sewage backing up into the streets. they apparently started to fix the problem, but i haven't heard anything positive or negative about said fix. i'm not even sure if they're done with the project yet given how bad the winter was this year.

the path runs all the way to Newark. avoid Newark at all costs, it's reputation is well deserved. there is a stop in Harrison as well, which is west of Hoboken and Jersey City but still in the same county. it's just outside Newark though but doesn't have all the issues Newark does. going there will add about 10-15 minutes on the the commute into Manhattan and it will cost a bit more too.

if price is the biggest concern the closer to Seton Hall you get the cheaper it will be, basically the further west and south of the Hudson you go the prices decrease. it will be tough to find a balancing act with walking to the path, decent rent and a safe/nice neighborhood. you might have to sacrifice one of those things.

  3. You'd think eBay would've banned his IP address by now..

at this point, seeing as how his nonsense has been going on for well over 3 years now, i doubt ebay will ever do anything to permanently stop him. but ebay banning his IP might stop him though. he got banned from here (all of his multitude of accounts), somehow made a new account like the very next day and immediatley started pulling his bullshit, then was banned again. thankfully he hasn't resurfaced here since that second banning. so it's not like he's going the extra lengths of using proxies or finding multiple computers to use.

  4. Just left with stuff for Justin (including Dads), an FR live because I read earlier that it was wanted and Demolicious. I can go back before I head back to NY. It's a quiet store so the three Dads copies may still be there. I would have loved to get more but funds are tight as I'm a college student.

Edit: I can go back and grab the DFDC too on my way back to NY Monday. It is $32 at Newbury Comics. The Dads EPs are $8. And they'll go to the people that claimed them here first if they are still available.

Justin, I'll PM you in a bit.

    anyone claim demolicious?

    Storenvy's shipping is always horrible

storenvy itself has nothing to do with shipping prices and they have nothing to do with packaging/shipping orders. they are just a host. storenvy isn't like merchnow or merchdirect. each store is run and managed by a lone person, band, label, or company who all set their own shipping prices.

  6. I keep getting people with no feedback who do this even though it clearly states Int'l buyers please contact for shipping quote before checking out.

that's why i gave up with discogs as a seller. for every 1 good buyer i dealt with i had 4 international people who buy stuff even though i clearly stated i won't ship internationally. all with zero feedback to boot. became too much of a headache. even had 1 guy from canada not understand why i wouldnt sell to him when all my listings say "i won't ship internationally, only to the USA." his arguement was "it's still north america it's not international."
