Would anybody going to the last couple US tour dates this year be willing to pick up a copy of the black on black edition of Foo Fighters - Concrete And Gold? I know they're selling copies of it for $25 at the merch table. I'll throw some extra $ your way for your trouble. PM me if you're willing to grab one for me.

If the flexi is going in all pre-orders I will buy one ASAP....but haven't been able to find confirmation of that.
it's a "while supplies last" type of thing so no guarantee of getting one

Aw shoot got the albums mixed up
we're both right. with this Foo Fighters album the infinity symbol is present in all the different covers, so in that regard it's like the obelisk in Presence and it's like In Through The Out Door with the different cover art aspect.
-
And not led zeppelin presence ?
Zeppelin did it with In Through The Out Door too. they did it with the cover, front and back, of In Through The Out Door. The cover is the same for all copies of Presence but the obelisk is featured through all the pictures found on the cover, insinde thje gatefold, back of the jacket and inner sleeve

pretty lame that they're doing a pre-order for this, more than a month out from the release date to boot, when there is really no need seeing as the records are done.

Jersey City has its spot. i would put it in the top 5 of worst places in NJ. if you stay in Journal Square you'll be ok. here is a good article about places to avoid in Jersey City. http://thepeacockpress.wordpress.com/2012/03/29/police-stay-out-of-the-red/
like others have said Hoboken in incredibly expensive and it's full of obnoxious people. where you'll be looking in Hoboken is where everyone wants to live, so you'll pay a premium. Hoboken also has issues with flooding, the biggest being sewage backing up into the streets. they apparently started to fix the problem, but i haven't heard anything positive or negative about said fix. i'm not even sure if they're done with the project yet given how bad the winter was this year.
the path runs all the way to Newark. avoid Newark at all costs, it's reputation is well deserved. there is a stop in Harrison as well, which is west of Hoboken and Jersey City but still in the same county. it's just outside Newark though but doesn't have all the issues Newark does. going there will add about 10-15 minutes on the the commute into Manhattan and it will cost a bit more too.
if price is the biggest concern the closer to Seton Hall you get the cheaper it will be, basically the further west and south of the Hudson you go the prices decrease. it will be tough to find a balancing act with walking to the path, decent rent and a safe/nice neighborhood. you might have to sacrifice one of those things.

You'd think eBay would've banned his IP address by now..
at this point, seeing as how his nonsense has been going on for well over 3 years now, i doubt ebay will ever do anything to permanently stop him. but ebay banning his IP might stop him though. he got banned from here (all of his multitude of accounts), somehow made a new account like the very next day and immediatley started pulling his bullshit, then was banned again. thankfully he hasn't resurfaced here since that second banning. so it's not like he's going the extra lengths of using proxies or finding multiple computers to use.

usually stores put up leftovers the next day. but there is a wildcard this year with tomorrow being Easter. i'm not sure how many stores will be open given that it's Easter so they might not update their website till Monday. Vintage Vinyl (vvinyl.com) will be putting up their leftovers tomorrow at 8 am EST though.

No sir.
PM'ing now to keep the clutter down in the thread.

Just left with stuff for Justin (including Dads), an FR live because I read earlier that it was wanted and Demolicious. I can go back before I head back to NY. It's a quiet store so the three Dads copies may still be there. I would have loved to get more but funds are tight as I'm a college student.
Edit: I can go back and grab the DFDC too on my way back to NY Monday. It is $32 at Newbury Comics. The Dads EPs are $8. And they'll go to the people that claimed them here first if they are still available.
Justin, I'll PM you in a bit.
anyone claim demolicious?

Skate and Surf died in 2004. This is not Skate and Surf.

if there are still spots open for the second set count me in.

glad i caught this before it sold out. kinda prefer red for this album anyways. also, didn't know until today that victory was pressing this...
Victory has no hand in releasing this. Mutant League Records is releasing it, their store is only hosted by Victory.

just got a cancellation email saying it's out of stock less than 3 hours after i ordered it. fucked up considering that as of writing this hot topic still has it up for order.

If you break them up I'll try and grab one as well!

Storenvy's shipping is always horrible
storenvy itself has nothing to do with shipping prices and they have nothing to do with packaging/shipping orders. they are just a host. storenvy isn't like merchnow or merchdirect. each store is run and managed by a lone person, band, label, or company who all set their own shipping prices.

I keep getting people with no feedback who do this even though it clearly states Int'l buyers please contact for shipping quote before checking out.
that's why i gave up with discogs as a seller. for every 1 good buyer i dealt with i had 4 international people who buy stuff even though i clearly stated i won't ship internationally. all with zero feedback to boot. became too much of a headache. even had 1 guy from canada not understand why i wouldnt sell to him when all my listings say "i won't ship internationally, only to the USA." his arguement was "it's still north america it's not international."
