jhulud Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 This one day festival will take place at multiple venues (The Orpheum, Crowbar, Ybor Live) in historic Ybor City. The festival is centered around two guiding principles: that people should be stoked on all of the bands playing, keeping a kind of coherent “narrative,” and that ticket prices should be kept low. Advance tickets are $35 and day of show prices $40 (on-sale in late April via ticketfly.com). Although some of the bands fall within different genres, we believe there is a common commitment that will appeal to anyone interested in extreme forms of music. Southern Darkness Fest Line-up: Pelican, All Pigs Must Die, Maruta, Centuries, Sannhet, Mouth of the Architect, Black Tusk, Jungbluth, Yautja, Order of the Owl, A Storm of Light, Phobia, Strong Intention, Zoroaster, Everything Went Black, Weekend Nachos, Lord Mantis, Coke Bust, ASG, Junius, Set and Setting, Traitor Crucifix, and Cosm.
