Brock N Roll
Kind of intrigued by this. Not huge on his ballad songs so if this is an album full of slow songs, I'd have to pass but if it's more along the lines of the pop/rock style I would be interested Klefki
kforkevin777
I didn't know he wasn't in Go Radio anymore. Curious as to what this'll sound like. Not gonna buy it until I hear a song.
smeepo
Posting all the singles that are out soon. They all sound like Go Radio songs to me. Last year he announced during Warped Tour that it would be his last tour with Go Radio and that he was doing so to be able to focus more on his family. EDIT: here's a demo of a song on the album called Change
Brock N Roll
I really dig the "Come Back" song. The other two are a little too slow for me but they're not bad. I might wait to listen to the whole album before I decide on buying because I'd be pretty disappointed if "Come Back" was the only heavier song on the record. smeepo
I'm going back and forth trying to decide if I want to pre-order the record, but I can't quite grasp spending $22.69 on a single album. The $18 LP standard on MerchNow is becoming rather ridiculous.

I haven't dug much Go Radio since the first album or two, so I think I'll end up passing on this.
The Saint
Love Jason. Love his voice. Definitely one of my favorites. I hope this lasts a little bit so I can pick it up in a few weeks or so. I don't know why, but I also really dig that cartoon shirt
smeepo
Oh I'm aware of HT's prices. I just avoid HT and suppress them from memory. Lucky Street is one of my favorite albums of all time, Closing the Distance was pretty "meh" to me. I also really enjoyed A Lesson in Romantics and Tales Told By Dead Friends by Mayday Parade. Yeah, those two Mayday Parade releases were some of my favorite work that came out during that time, but I think Jason's voice is much better when complimented by/complimenting a voice like Sanders'. I'm not sure. I could just never get into Go Radio the way I could Mayday.
smeepo
I feel you there. Listening to A Lesson in Romantics for the first time in like a year or two today made me realize just how fucking awesome they sound together. Go Radio's first EP did it in for me. One song off that has been stuck in my head for a few days, actually...
The Saint
Revisiting Go Radio for the night. It's been a while, but that song that was posted made me want to. The new song sounds great, although it's a shame that Go Radio is no more because it sounds just like them.
searos
Sounds like a go radio song... Not sure why he went solo. Not a bad song and the last Go Radio album was his best release but gonna pass on the vinyl version of this. Will be a good iTunes album. Brock N Roll
Someone sell me Lucky St. I had it but sold it a long time ago and I've regretted it ever since

smeepo
Stream the whole album: I ordered it today. Comes with digital download... the folder is 431MB, so holy shit that is a large file. EDIT: They're .wav files.
McCandless
Ordered, thanks for posting this! Loved Go Radio and early Mayday so I'm glad he's still bringing out stuff. smeepo
smeepo
It's pretty good! Not quite like Go Radio or Mayday, but definitely more like Go Radio than Mayday. Though he puts his own poppy spin on things and it works pretty well. I love his voice.
McCandless
Yeah Close the distance was one of my favourite albums of last year (I was late discovering it) and by the time I realised how much I loved it they broke up. His voice is what makes it though.
smeepo
I wasn't that crazy about Close the Distance, but everyone I know loved it. I was obsessed with Lucky Street.

I prefer the 'ballad' type songs on Close the distance which makes me think I might like this one quite a bit too from what I've heard. GoRadioFan
I contributed to the Indiegogo because at that point it didn't look like there was going to be an album otherwise. Bought the vinyl and have to say that I'm supremely disappointed in how it's gone. After the money got close enough he pushed the release date back about 3 months in order to release it wider and have pre orders and such. Not only was the price difference almost insultingly huge, as it turns out the contributors didn't even get it first like we were supposed to. Preorder people got it first and the downloads went up on itunes before we even got our link, even though it was supposed to go to us first. And now the vinyl is pushed back until the end of July...live and learn I guess!
smeepo
Vinyl dates always have a tendency to fluctuate, more in favor of being pushed back than being early. Can't say if Jason intended to blow off the Indiegogo supporters. Though it is too bad since those people paid $25 (+shipping?) for it instead of the $18 +shipping for it on MerchNow. GoRadioFan
50 actually but yeah. Shipping was included. Though I suppose you can put part of that 50 towards the t-shit that's supposed to be included. If it was the difference between 18 and 25 I wouldn't have even mentioned it but the only way you got the vinyl on Indiegogo was for 50, which at the time seemed fair since it was supposed to be a tiny press available only through the campaign.
