altarsofradness
is this available on LP yet? no info in Vagrant or Swami, so i would assume no. picked up the cd version today. it's not bad. equal parts RFTC, Hot Snakes, and Sultans.
altarsofradness
on second listen, i hear way more Hot Snakes and particularly Live From Camp X-Ray era RFTC than anything else. Live From Camp X-Ray is so underappreciated. i cant believe so many people consider it the "worst" RFTC record. and it's nice to hear J Sinclain back on drums with Speedo. one of the reasons i believe Suicide Invoice was so great was because of that guy's drumming
billynomates
Yeah I've got the LP, it's out in the UK, on Vagrant. Not played it yet, only got it yesterday. On a related note, anyone hear anything about All Systems Go Vol III, which was mentioned on the Swami site ages ago? Also wish they would do RIP on vinyl with a DVD. cosmonaut
Live From Camp X-Ray is so underappreciated. i cant believe so many people consider it the "worst" RFTC record. that's because it is the worst rftc record. it's not bad, but compared to the rest of the catalog, it just doesn't measure up. jacobe
I get a great deal of shit for it, but I listen to "Camp X-Ray" more than almost any other RfTC album.

altarsofradness
the more i listen to this the more i'm convinced this could have been the next Hot Snakes record after Audit. Bad Blood, In Dead Sleep, Jump in the Fire need some Rick Froberg vocal treatment

thomasmagnum
yeah i agree about it possibly being the next hot snakes records ...either way its a great album and i think i'm gonna listen to it again right now
cosmonaut
At the Night Marchers show in Baltimore tomorrow, Obits is opening. This means Reis and Froberg will be in the same room, so who knows - maybe a Jehu song or something? I think this is the only NM show with Obits, so it's possible they'll have a surprise or two.
