sydney11
Hey all, I have been using a crosley turntable with built in speakers, just a cheap ok turntable to get started, it was free however lol. Anyways my wife and I are really into vinyl now and are looking to upgrade. To give you an example of my price point the turntable I have decided on is the Audio Technics lp 60. Anyways I'd like to get some decent speakers in the mid price range, shelf type, not the huge ones like I had in the 80's lol so looking for some direction. Also I was wondering if someone could explain the pros/cons of just getting an amplifier to run the speakers as opposed to a reciever. I really don't have any interest in listening to the radio in the house to be honest. Thanks so much in advance

slinch
No worries. If you still have some questions or aren't sure which direction to go in, make sure to first post an approximate budget you're willing to set aside for everything.
