kouka Posted October 15, 2014 Share Posted October 15, 2014 So my laptop has contracted AdvanceElite and I can't get this damn thing off it. I have searched for installed programs to delete, it was in the list of Add-Ons in Firefox, and I deleted it several times only for it to come back (and now it's not even showing up on the list), and I just ran Windows Defender full scan.. It's a pain in the ass but it's the only solution 100% guaranteed to work and it's better to hit it head on than have it linger out over days/weeks/months trying to quarantine/delete and having it come back again.
