ExtraFox
This one's a little hard to explain even to those who know what a Commodore 64 was, but Matt Gray is an acclaimed C64 musician and his Kickstarter has been up two days and is already funded. The vinyl can't be bought on it's own but this may be of interest to any other 80s children here (though I don't know how sucessful the C64 was in the USA). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1289191009/reformation-c64-track-remakes-by-matt-gray-last-ni There's one track up and I like it. https://mattgray1.bandcamp.com/track/central-park-loader-theme-2014-from-the-last-ninja-
gabpower
There are already a couple of C64 soundtracks available on the market for those like me who are into that stuff. The first that comes to mind is Input 64 http://www.discogs.com/Various-Input-64-A-Collection-Of-Commodore-64-Game-Music-1984-1989/release/27130 Speedpig
74R
This thread totally reminded me of M.U.L.E. Haven't played it in 30 years but still remember the theme music like it was yesterday. I loved this game.
duckula
It seems a bit pricey considering you won't get it for the best part of a year.

Are there others ?? I would like an LP of the Dizzy games tunes. :-)

I have it and it sounds really good, great sleeve art too - http://www.discogs.com/Various-SID-Chip-Sounds-The-Music-Of-The-Commodore-64/release/3414723
gabpower
Thanks for that, hadn't heard of that one! Are there others ?? I would like an LP of the Dizzy games tunes. :-) There are two others available on vinyl, they're called Output 64 : http://www.discogs.com/Various-Output64-Delete-All-Data-Input64-Remixed-1X/release/48537 http://www.discogs.com/Various-Output64-Delete-All-Data-Input64-Remixed-2X/release/232593 I guess there could be a few more obscure releases about C64 but I don't know about them. The Input 64/Output 64 records are great and I recommend them if you're into that thing!
