Time to Die was alright - the title track is one of my favourite Dodos songs. Carrier was a super personal record and I don't think it resonated with a lot of people for the simple fact that, theme-wise, it was quite heavy. I was dealing with the loss of a family member and I think that helped form a special attachment and appreciation of the album. I'm still excited for this new one, though! The single isn't spectacular but I'm enjoying that they brought back the acoustic guitars and loud drums. It's a pretty cover as well.
