RecruitingGuy
Pretty good offer at POPMarket today it appears:https://www.popmarket.com/popmarket/details/72474048?feature_id=72471918 Iconic albums all, for $50 total. Wondering if anyone has these reissue pressings and how they sound? Thoughts about grabbing these, or trying to track down 70's pressings instead? Wondering if anyone has these reissue pressings and how they sound? Thoughts about grabbing these, or trying to track down 70's pressings instead? I have a few Clash reissues and they are solid. I cannot access the link (at work) to see which albums are included, but I have Sandinista, ...Rope, and Combat Rock. They all sound great. I imagine the other Clash albums do too. I can't speak for Ramones or Sex Pistols.
ajhall04
That's a good price. I have originals and prefer those, but the legit reissues I have come across sound just fine. Do it!
RecruitingGuy
Oh the three albums here are Ramones s/t, Clash s/t, and Sex Pistols "Never Mind the Bollocks..." The offer on POPMarket looks good but it also looks like you can piece together the same deal on Amazon for close to the same price, so it's not like you HAVE to jump in on it (not to mention POPMarket takes like 3-4 weeks to ship). I say go for it. also, there is a discount code on one of these threads...hold on... Found it! Try this: Survey10 I think it's 10% off. You can thank ScottHeisel if it works. RecruitingGuy
Oooh - I like discounts. If I could get it down to $40 I'm pulling the trigger.

YouTwo
The discounts are usually 10% I think Popmarket10 or Survey10 should work
RecruitingGuy
Oh yeah! I have that discount too for filling out their survey the other day. Didn't think of that. So that's $15 an album. Not shabby.

I'd bite. They probably are marked ~ $20-$30 MSRP. It's not perfect, but if that includes shipping, I'd bite (if I wasn't broke).
skadaddy
Related story: I scored the first US pressing of the Clash S/T album at a garage sale for a dollar. I didn't even realize what pressing it was until I got it home and looked it up out of curiosity. It was a good day.

YouTwo
I liked when Popmarket15 was active. It gave you 15% off.
