destroyingthescene
I went and saw them on Friday. Fucking hilarious. As for merch, they had a couple t-shirts all kinda fugly IMHO, a girl's tee, a DVD, and a overpriced tour book. But yeah, the show itself is awesome. "It's like I'm swaddling all of human suffering". dante3000
DAYUM! Dave Foley has aged like hell. Missed this but it seems rad.
lechevre
What was the price range on things? And Dante, yeah When I saw Dave on the DVD of season 1 (a featurette, I thnk) He looked so old. I kind of feel bad for him.
destroyingthescene
Mark McKinney does not look good as well, I'd say I was more surpsied by him than Foley, mainly cuz I've seen Foley on that terrible celebrity poker show. Pretty sure the shirts were around $25, and the DVD and book were $15 and $10. No posters though, which is what I was hoping for.
pez
I was really upset that I missed this
lechevre
Heh, I'm excited because I was at work when tickets went on sale (before I got laid off, and no internet access) and my girlfriend texted me and said they were sold out. Found out later that day she just did it to surprise me with floor seats!
kouka
i'm glad i didn't go.. i debated it A LOT, but in the end I decided it would be like a Jawbreaker reunion, and I didn't want my image of them to be let-down. i'd rather the dream live on. destroyingthescene
Dude, you missed you. Yeah, they're old and fat, but their new stuff is still hilarious! One of the skits has Gavin talking religion with Jehovah Witnesses, it was pretty funny!
lechevre
HOLY FUCK. I just got back and this was fucking great! Definitely not a hack has been kinda thing. I don't care merch was all over priced, but I paid the prices. I can't believe i now own a "GIRL DRINK DRUNK" shirt. This is fucking awesome. If you're not familiar with girl drink drunk.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=epa5YZIJU8I
destroyingthescene
glad you enjoyed it bro, told you it'd be hilarious!
lechevre
OMG, I always thought it would be but it totally blew away my expectations. Like seriously. The best part is when Mark (accidentally) spit on someone in the front row. He was totally sorry about it. It was just hilarious he seemed very sorry about it, but man it was still funny. chunkrock
Did anyone buy that dvd they are selling? What is it? I want to go so bad but I can't however if someone is going and could pick me up a dvd it would be killer.
lechevre
Yeah, I bought it. I'm a merch whore. Um, I haven't watched it yet, but it's like an interview with the kids. 50 min long roughly. Sorry not for sale.
djbaker26
They did a tour like this a couple of years ago. Although I wasn't able to go I heard it's funny as hell. Well worth the price too!
scottheisel
Tickets are still available for Cleveland tonight at $20 a pop. Looks like I'll be buying one at the door (fuck those nonsense "convenience charges"). P-Fresh is coming with me; anyone else wanna go? lechevre
If I could drive out there right now, I just would. IT'S THAT GOOD.
scottheisel
Did they take credit cards for merch, or just cash?
lechevre
I think just cash, I'm not sure. It was run near a bar and I really only noticed people paying cash. Sorry dude, whenever I go out I only bring cash because I know it's always good!
william
saw the show at the beginning of April. It was hilarious. Had third row orchestra pit seats..came so close to getting my head crushed.
scottheisel
This show was fantastic! P Fresh and I went down with one of my co-workers and were able to buy tickets at half-price (only $22) directly from the box office. Better yet, our seats were only eight rows back, and virtually dead center! I have no idea how we encountered this stroke of luck, but it was so much fun. I laughed for 90 minutes straight.
