Total insanity and politically/socially fueled lyrics accompanied by a mix of tech-metal, grindcore, and metalcore. Comes on Redw/ brown Smoke colored vinyl limited to 700 copies.

Brand new LP from Texas' Toru Okada. Seven heartfelt songs about friends, love, and hardcore packed into a sixteen page booklet with pictures, lyrics, and writings. After honing their sound for over two years playing with everybody from Melt Banana to Mono, Ampere to Dead Meadow, these five dudes can rip some seriously devasting and epic hardcore. They And The Children coming back atcha with a new sweet six minute song combining elements of Isis, Tragedy, and Majority Rule into one radical musical experience. The flip side of the record contains two new tracks from post-punk Daniel Striped Tiger. Their sound is somewhere between Fugazi and Nation of Ulysses with a twist.

SVR09 THE AMBITION – A LEGACY OF RUIN CD –

Long Island's THE AMBITION brings forth five new brutal tracks in twenty minutes. Fans of their previous full length should be delighted to hear a tighter, more focused, more aggressive, and ultimately better Ambition than they once knew. With this release they break away from the leagues of "mosh metal" bands while still remaining fucking heavy as shit. Anyone who is into metal/metalcore along the lines of Prayer for Cleansing, Unearth, or Between the Buried and Me will dig this CD for sure.

SVR10 THE EXELAR / TOWERS 12" (clear) –

The Exelar is start-stop hardcore mixing elements of His Hero Is Gone with an early '90s emocore style, emphasized with short bursts of blast beats and abrasive vocals spewing short and to the point political messages. Towers is a sound explosion bursting with feedback & noise. Their sound falls somewhere between Deadguy, Old Man Gloom, and early Isis material. There are 16 songs on this LP from the bands' respective demos, remixed and remastered. Clear vinyl, Clear jacket, Clear everything.

Long Island's DIVIDER present and innovative and ultimately devastating six track effort. At Twilight is an incredibly chaotic amalgamation of all things fast & heavy from brutal thrash/tech metal to pissed off hardcore. The chaos created by abrasive guitars and precise drums serve as the perfect atmosphere for the vicious sociopolitical vocal onsalught. Two new songs from Philly's TOWERS bursting with feedback and noise. A gloriously raw amalgamation of sounds akin to DEADGUY, OLD MAN GLOOM, PG.99, early ISIS, etc. Connecticut's THEY AND THE CHILDREN add one raging four-minute track to this seven inch citing influences ranging from MAJORITY RULE and BOTCH to NEUROSIS. Comes on clear / beer split colored vinyl and is limited to a mere 600 copies.

SVR14 THE GERSCH – THE GERSCH GATEFOLD LP (color)-

A collection of lost recordings from the mid-to-late '90s, created by a loose cadre of individuals led by Isis and Red Sparowes programmer/guitarist Cliff Meyer. Punctuated by rumbling doom blasts, skyscraping riffery, and cavernous vocals, The Gersch's sonic landscape prefigured its own place in the time/space continuum. From ringing guitars to thudding Mach waves, from buried melodies to lurching power drones, The Gersch will satisfy with sounds both strange and familiar. Deluxe vinyl version featuring gatefold covers and white vinyl limited to 700 copies.

SVR15 FURNACE – SELF TITLED 7" (clear/black) –

Five ragers from New Hampshire's Furnace. Obligatory comparisons to crust/metal/punk/core yardsticks (IE: His Hero Is Gone) are inescapable but Furnace also diverges from the sound they are lumped in with often on this record. Unexpected changeups, emotive passages, and a variety of vocal stylings are all integrated to the otherwise raging, pummeling, blistering, bludgeoning, etc... music. Production courtesy of dead air studios is top notch for this style. Limited to 500 copies on smoke vinyl with 2 sided foldout covers designed by bloodbytes.
