recordclub
Hello, At the record club we have started writing a weekly newsletter that covers all topics that are related to records and record collecting. It's called the inner sleeve and its free to subscribe to! So if you want to subscribe please feel free to http://eepurl.com/btmSCL And if you have any suggestions on what we can do to improve, whether it's content you want to see more/less of, you think there is something we are completely missing or anything else let us know. We are looking to create a newsletter that really captures the essence of the vinyl community so your input is massively appreciated. A link to the first issue is below if you are interested: https://therecordclub.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/The-Inner-Sleeve-01.pdf
One Hundred Fifty-Two
I'm going to stop you right here. Don't try whatever you think you are going to try. Kickstarter coming soon. You are in the very dangerous pre kickstarter but post social media harassment phase. Just end before any serious damage happens.
nancy_raygun
The site seems well put together, just a bit slow to load. But mostly what tellallyourfriends said. This is probably a bad idea. Also this:
DecayToDeath
Also this: That's usually the tip-off as to how knowledgeble "new idea" people are in threads like this.
SE7EN
It's a nice idea for sure, but as someone who is surrounded by colleagues who work in social media, I know enough to say that you need a well thought out strategy, which isn't just 'sign-up-to-every-site-related-to-vinyl-then-drop-a-post-or-two-and-see-what-happens'. Also, just one other small thing: it's a good idea if when you're asking people to visit and sign up to your website, that your website actually works. And an important reminder: good content (or in your case, at least some viewable content) comes first, followers and fans come second. Without the first, there will NEVER be the second. Good luck...
