danthemjfan23
hey everybody, i'm pretty excited to be working with The Please And Thank Yous again. they're a chicago pop punk/emo 4-piece that's been around since 2006, and is somehow still getting better with every release. "Split" is TPATY's most ambitious recording to date. everything was recorded to tape and mastered from there. this album is called "Split" because the band joked about wanting to do a split with themselves since half the new songs they had written were songs that will make you want to dance, and the other half will make you want to cry. so the A-side is one, and the B-side is the other. just put on whatever side you're in the mood for. 10 songs appear on the cassette itself, and the digital download code gets you two bonus tracks. included in these dozen songs are ten originals, one Martha And The Vandellas cover, and one Weezer cover. head on over to the bandcamp page and place your order for the new cassette that's out TODAY, and while you're there, add a CD copy of AIR-021 to your order. that's TPATY's self-titled EP which also rules. https://artisticintegrityrecords.bandcamp.com/album/air-029-split RIYL: Weezer, Jawbreaker, The Promise Ring, Knapsack, etc

danthemjfan23
thanks so much you guys, and to everybody who has ordered so far! i've worked with TPATY in the past a few times. in January of last year, i released their self-titled EP on CD, and they also contributed a song to the Motown covers comp i just put out January 1 of this year. Geoff's solo side project Sweatertooth contributed songs to each of the two previous covers comps i put out before this Motown comp, and i put out the Sweatertooth full length CD called "Slow Core Parking Lot" a couple years back. everything is available on the bandcamp page, so if there's anything you haven't heard, check all of those things out.
