Let's Go Skating is her foray into the solo singer/songwriter space and it's breathtaking. This release has a very otherworldly, yet comforting feel. The affection in Elena's voice coupled with the airy and ominous instrumentals create a listening experience that is both calming and perturbed, and hearing it via the warm (yet somewhat coarse) medium that is the cassette tape only adds to the experience.
