dante3000
So this image was explained to me a long time ago by one of the dudes in Riot Before. They were joking about making shirts with the Arthur Ash memorial on it with the words "fuck the kids" (actually, it may have been shirts they were going to make for Gaslight Anthem as a joke. Anyhow, I didn't really get it until I decided to look up a picture of the memorial online... I was unaware we gave statues for beating kids. dante3000
The picture just looks like he's wailing down on these defenseless kids and they just have their arms up trying to either beg for mercy or block the oncoming onslaught of books. Yeah, that's what I took from it. Which to me is funnier than beating them.

swank
I'd say this is the best memorial ever. Hunter S. Thompson's giant gonzo fist that shot his ashes into the sky with firecrackers. (Bankrolled by Johnny Depp).
skaddict
is that in richmond? i know they have statues of him here. Yep it's in Richmond. I always thought it was the best memorial on monument avenue (the street it's on). Haha I never looked at it close enough to see the resemblance.
