bubb4
I'd appreciate any help identifying this cart. I have no way of knowing how old it is. I just have the gold wrap and "66H" or "H99" on the back to go off of. Thanks in advance!

I have no complaints about the sound but I'm not sure if there's an easy way to tell if the stylus should be replaced. I've found very different answers online. Any recommendations? The 2 bodies are covered in a dampening material. Edit: Might be a 2? Hard to tell from the picture. Hard to tell from the picture. I can provide better/different pics. What would be helpful? Essentially, I'm trying to figure out how old the pieces are and then determine if they need to be replaced. Just trying to figure out the model so I know how much this is going to cost me Thanks again!

If your worried, buy a new stylus. I recommend the 8MZ over the Gold. Same price, but better diamond (not sure if the gold is nude or bonded). bubb4

What tools would you recommend? I've seen the force scales and alignment protractors mentioned in other places.

In your case, you may need to remove the cartridge to do it, since you have a fixed headshell. Then realign it. bubb4
