I picked this up from my local store as well and it was the swirl. Think they just did one semi large press of the one color and that's it. The only variant is the purple swirl one to my knowledge. I looked pretty extensively before grabbing it at the store because I did not want black and there are no images or documentation of a black existing. So you should be okay!
