danthemjfan23 Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 when you're on eBay, at the upper right hand corner of the screen there should be a "help" link. click on that and then type in "retract a bid" in the search box. follow the instructions (you'll need to give your reason for retracting the bid) and it will retract it. the seller does not need to agree, which sucks if you're the seller. i've been burned multiple times by people retracting bids. i think if you retract like 3 bids within a month or something, eBay suspends your account, but if it's just one it's no big deal apparently. good luck.
