What kind of lyric packaging do you prefer?

I never really thought about it, I guess it all depends on how the book is done or how the sleeve looks.

The Postal Service LP has a great insert booklet, full size, very very nice.

I hate when you by a LP and you get a CD booklet thrown in, that makes me kinda mad.

Saddle Creek always have plastic lined sleeves, just that one gesture makes the record seem alot more value for money in terms of build quality.

Saddle Creek knows what's up with vinyl. plastic lined sleeves, 180 gram, and mp3 downloads.

I'm glad most of my favorite bands are on that label.

And i forgot, they also give out something cool when you preorder, like the good life bottle opener or a free 7" with the bright eyes preorder.

I like inserts, but my favorite is when the lyrics are in the gatefold of the jacket.

IMHO most inserts are too flimsy, but if it's on a heavier cover-weight stock it can be okay. depending on the fit, the thing ones can get bent when sliding records in.
