Yea, it's not the clean production of WATT, and it's sloppier than FC, but they're a sloppy band. It works, so why all the hate? It's all personal preference. For me, the production ruins the album (although there are a few songs I really like on the album, production withstanding). What I'm saying is that regardless of whether it was done intentionally or not, I don't like it. Whether they said "we meant to do that" or "that's just what came out and we were disappointed, too," I would still dislike it. production wise, it was great. it just doesn't fit their sound. when i want to hear it sound "live" like they said they wanted it to sound, i'll go watch them. when i'm at home, though, i want to be able to hear the song. the album is so fucking good, but the production ruined it for me as well.
