Pegasuses XL features Jeff Rosenstock who you know from Bomb the Music Industry and Arrogant Sons of Bitches and Jeff Tobias from We vs the Shark. Stop by their Myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/pegasuses) to check out a few songs which the band has labeled Experimental / Electronic / Rock. Don't let those terms scare you as the songs are really good. There is an atmospheric quality to the music which is always a plus in my book. There is an almost Hip Hop attitude in some of the vocal delivery which compliments their sound well. Usually the pairing of Experimental and Electronic produces quite the snooze fest or the ultimate wank-off, but luckily for us, there is a strong emphasis on the Rock which would you really expect anything else from Jeff R? I am really excited about this record and am excited that Asbestos will be putting this out on wax. Here are a few mp3s:

The record is being pressed in an edition of 500 copies:

150 white w/ colored splatter

350 black and white swirl

Asbestos has been so kind as to give us a test pressing to one lucky purchaser of this release. We will announce the winner towards the end of February.
