grindcynic
Okay so I had to reinstall Vista recently and upon doing so I knew I would need to port forward soul seek again which I have done numerous times. Problem: after following the steps to port forward (numerous times) and completing the process, soul seek still says that my port is closed. Please help! Any help is very much appreciated! and I have gone into the exceptions for my firewall and I have added my soul seek port to the program (didn't have to do this before I reinstalled but did it anyway in hopes it would help. I am using the windows vista firewall and the lame anti-virus that comes with it PCillin (brilliant name) and I am using the Thompson DCW725

roadmonkey
I would disable all of your Software Firewalls and just have the port forward on your Router
thomas
I would disable all of your Software Firewalls and just have the port forward on your Router That is what I was going to suggest. Check out portforward.com on which ports to use.
