deafmx
I won the most recent These Arms Are Snakes album test press from Suicide Squeeze on black vinyl with orange labels. came in the regular cover but I don't think there is even a regular black pressing of the album. legitimate stuff all varies between labels and pressings, I have never bought a test press but I would be skeptical of most on eBay just because it's still eBay! chaps
You also get the sense of more directly helping fund more releases from your (favorite) artist/band (which might be false but at least it feels that way).
punkrockvinyl25
"That could by why Mike Park includes a certificate of authenticity with every test press from Asian Man. "yeah, and those would be SOOOO hard to forge if somebody really wanted to. "So is there actually any difference or are they exactly the same as the regular press? " not that i'm aware of, but i don't own one. maybe there's something special in the matrix etchings? i'm not sure, but i don't think so. not all of asian man test had the yellow slip. i got my bomb test from a friend who got one in a trade and no slip. i asked i think it was flood and he said mike didn;t do it untill after the first ebay he did. flood
yeah mike didn't start the "slips" until like a couple months ago when he dumped the first huge batch onto ebay.
