How can you hate bbq?! don't like the taste. also don't like the sausage either, so i'd substitute that for fresh ground beef if i make one of these. bbg flavor is alright in small doses, so i would maybe put a little of it on this. motorbike Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 i am making one of these when i get home from work. i am really looking forward to it too. made it last night, was pretty damn awesome. i will say in you make it in a regular oven and not a smoker i would go with regular sliced bacon instead of thick cuts. some of it was a little raw, but the inside was perfect. next im goin to try this as breakfast dish with no bbq and syrub and honey instead.
