has anyone compared the german pressing vs. the north america pressing? I read somewhere that the GHvC pressing was on 180g and used different plates. Any info?

To be technical a German pressing vs. a North American or another country pressing would use different plates if it was actually pressed in another country. It would be different if one plant was used and it was a co-release between two labels (i.e. new Flatliners album.) I have the German press and it sounds great but isn't 180g (135g/140g)

Yeah I don't have a US press to compare it to. I heard it sounds bad though. Also weight doesn't make vinyl sound better or worse.

I only have the german press, don't know if it sounds better. Killer album nonetheless.
