cosmonaut Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 I was there a year ago, in Buenos Aires and Tucuman. Tucuman is in the hinterlands, and there's trash everywhere. It always smelled like there was a forest fire, but when I asked if there were fires nobody seemed to know what I was talking about. BA is huge and exciting and a lot of fun. Some people tried to rob me, but they didn't get anything. There seemed to be a decent punk scene, actually. I didn't see any shows there, but I spotted a lot of fliers and such. xfedaykinx Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 BA is cool. total party city. nice old architecture. didnt get to spend a lot of time there, only a few weeks. would have liked to have visited Mendoza or gone down to Bariloche. was a much bigger fan of Santiago and Chile in general, but im biased. partysmasher Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 i saw pictures from a friends recent visit. they had steaks the size of your head. my parents went there to visit my sister while she was living in BA and my dad's cholesterol level took a massive hit, couldn't stay away from the steaks and red wine apparently.
