+ got rid of my TV, bed, microwave and lots of other stuff + magic draft tonight - last night in seattle for a while

the city had an awesome buzz going on about this....i over heard many conversation starting off with "did you hear about the kid who saved the sounders..."

that year will probably fly by thomas! - trying to sell/give away/throw out stuff i dont need, which is a lot! + found an awesome apartment in SF at an extremely reasonable price in a wicked cool area

just ordered one, glad i saw this today

- been super busy lately and havent had time to play video games or float around on the boards + its because i took a new job and will be moving to san francisco in 2 weeks - having to leave seattle

best: monotonix - i left the show not really remembering a song they played, but had a smile on my face the entire set worst: high on fire - maybe because i went to see MONO open, i was expecting something different, but i couldnt get into their set

i have been playing a lot of Dominion and some of the heads i play with have recommended giving this game a go

+ back in seattle + expecting a job offer on thursday or friday - dragging from the flights

there is a good place to grind it out on GP if you dont mind repeating the same battle over and over. it should take about a minute or two and net you 6600 CP (by comparison, i just battled out a 10 minute match and only got 6000). it is on the way to vanilles, follow the ! and in the narrow path towards the end there are two dudes that fight each other....you get preemptive and they wont touch you until one is dead.

- gotta get up at 430 am to get to the airport + flying to a job interview - have to return to seattle the same night, so i can get home, switch luggage and get back to the airport for a redeye to the east coast - dont think i will have time to finish FF13 prior to leaving + Finished FF13 with 4 hours to spare

Specifically Earth is Not a Dead Cold Place this, for sure

damn, everything i have is worthless!

i got through about 17, picked up the Chocobos and got the 10k steps and 100k damage [which is pretty easy, i used Fang's summon and with the stagger bonus did 300k]

this game does not get any easier....some of the random battles take 3 or 4 tries and over 10 minutes!

here is my rough description of how to get to 8 align the map so that the ! to go to vanilles house is straight to the left. walk right to the edge of the map. hopefully you will pass a very tiny island looking thing, when you get there, walk about 120 degrees south east into a narrow path. it is very close to stone 1 and may even have been where we came out from to start the level

that is the same guide i have been using and i was able to find it without a warp stone....i have done about 25 of them, going to try and finish a few more up tomorrow. i think i am near a point of no return the end boss of chapter 11 is also a major pain. 3.3M HP and you have 20 minutes before it puts the doom counter on...took about 6 tries to beat (on try 2 i had him to less than 20k HP when the timer ran out)

now that i am back from a vacation, i have about three days to finish up what i estimate to be about 20 hours of FF13 before leaving for another vacation...

the bronze seems like an interesting color

i am going to try and make the seattle show with Dave

+ going to reno today + got a job interview in 8 days +/- would require relocation

i forget which FF game it was that had that monster battle trading card game, but i loved that. one of my regrets in life is never being able to finish FF7. there was some floating white ship that i was supposed to locate on the map but was never able to find it. FF13 tip - when you get to chapter 11 and are wandering around, do as many missions as you can find before going to the "!" i agree about them motorcycles, you need a sentinel in there to call forth the attack

thanks, that is good to hear. the upside of my backtracking was earning over 100k in CP. for now, the x360a FF13 site seems to be down - all i get is a white screen
