When I was fifteen and thought I was too punk for my own good, I hated Bright Eyes. I eventually grew out of that frame of mind when I was about 17, and started listening to various genres of music and not just punk. I gave Bright Eyes a chance and found his lyrical talent to be undeniable. I saw Conor with The Mystic Valley Band last November, and it was one of the best shows I saw last year. enjoyadrian Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 Im not sure what other members were singing, but those tracks were pretty solid. Roosevelts Room was a stickout track for me. Overall I thought the album was too long. If they would have cut the album down to 10 songs, i think it wouldve been great instead of good.
