Guest Admin
GOLDEN CITY "Golden City" 10" (ex Christie Front Drive) http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Items/VCMBL111-1 Christie Front Drive may have never been a commercial success, but they influenced countless bands, and helped get Jimmy Eat World signed to their first major label contract. I actually used to book shows for CFD at Club 156 in Boulder back in the mid 90's and remember doing one with them and Jimmy Eat World. I actually told Jimmy Eat World that they were good for an Emo band because back then, I was all about the pop-punk. It is funny to look back on those days and think that almost 15 years later, Christie Front Drive are still worth listening to. I actually saw them play at Denver Fest 2 years ago and they were so good. Well, Golden City features Eric Richter from Christie Front Drive and I have yet to put the record on, but I have heard nothing but great things. If you are a fan of CFD, I recommend you check out Golden City.

xxmartinxx
It's very similar to his previous band, The 101. Their stuff is very much worth finding.
