pjaicomo
I just can't help but laugh when variant collectors whine about labels pressing more variants. One copy of a record is good enough for me. I'd rather buy 20 good records than 1 record 20 times. Wow. Good point. I wonder why no one has brought that up yet. "I'd rather have X different records, than X versions of one record." Guest drahtuos
i own some variants by accident. sometimes i forget i already own a record and i buy it again. who knows maybe it could turn into a thing and i could become a serious variant collector, maybe
lokithelion
yeah I don't think collecting variants is greedy, maybe a tad bit obsessive-compulsive, but not greedy. the only variants I collect are my own damn releases and that retarded Jud Jud collection I have(and there's only like 8 variants). It's a personal choice thing, I don't fault people for collecting variants, but I don't completely understand it either. sweet! we gonna work out a deal on a personalized black mamba test now? I've always stood behind this concept, granted I am guilty of owning 3 or 4 variations of a single record. But I would rather spend my money on as many records as I can since there's so many good ones out there.
