theholygoof
Hi all -- I picked up a used copy of They Might Be Giants' Flood at the local Half Price Books last week, but it only had a standard paper inner sleeve. Anyone know if this originally had a custom inner sleeve? The lyrics are inside the gatefold cover, so I'm just curious if the copy is complete or not. Thanks, holygoof

seafoamgreen
Is the copy you found a BMG or Columbia copy? I've only seen one original pressing of this... not to say it's rare, it just seems the record club version is way easier to come by. xfedaykinx
its amazing how rarely this record shows up on ebay. lincoln and ST show up much more often
flood
lincoln and the s/t were on indie labels.. and i believe both were repressed by one little indian in the UK... so theres a shitload more copies floating around
theholygoof
Hey seafoamgreen -- Yeah, that's the only downer -- it is a BMG pressing. However, I must admit I was quite surprised to see it at all. Mainly because I too have noticed that either version doesn't list all that frequently out there on the Internets.
sonix
Mines just a black paper sleeve. This is without a doubt my favorite record. takes me back to when I was just a wee lad.
