scottheisel
From the latest Lovitt Records newsletter: A vinyl version of the Glös full-length Harmonium is going to be coming out soon as a split release with ADAGIO830 records in Germany. The pressing is going to be limited, and we will be taking pre-orders on the website for it in a few weeks.Sleepytime Trio's Plus 6000 will be reissued on vinyl sometime in the fall/winter. For those who don't know, Glös is Keeley Davis (Engine Down/Sparta/Denali), Cornbread Compton (Engine Down/Heavens/Biology) and Maura Davis (Denali/Ambulette). It is freaking awesome, and I can't wait to get it on vinyl.

scottheisel
i liked the denali record...i'll have to check it out... If you liked Denali, you should definitely check out Ambulette -- it's Maura's new full-time band (Glos is more of a one-off project). It's pretty much where Denali would've ended up: http://myspace.com/ambulette

sgoodcore
Maura's voice is just amazing. I haven't heard Glos but I like Denali so I think I'll be picking this up when its released.
oakland
Did Ambulette ever get their gear back? I saw the list of guitars and stuff that got stolen and it was crazy. Also, in Lovitt-related news, Robotic Empire has every color of the first Pygmy Lush record. You're all going to want to pick that up. scottheisel
Did Ambulette ever get their gear back? I saw the list of guitars and stuff that got stolen and it was crazy. I don't think so; they just replaced all of it. Ambulette actually stayed at my house a few months ago when they were on tour with the New Trust (who I've known for years); we all played Guitar Hero until like 3am but I don't think Maura said more than three words to me the whole time. She is completely socially inept (not being said as a criticism; just pointing it out).
benchwarmer
I think the new Haram will really put them on the map. I haven't gotten anything of their since their demo. I guess I just forgot about them, I'll have check out their other stuff.
