bruins4ever
Anybody have any idea what this is limited to? I won this record off Ebay about a year ago for only a few bucks and have always been interested to know how many of these are out there? Certainly looks as if it would be somewhat rare with the handmade cover and handwritten insert. Anybody have any idea? Deadformat has no pressing info on it, just two pictures. I'm not looking to sell it, but it's a question of curiosity. Thanks in advance.
manicdogbert
i'm pretty sure that single was /1000. they used different pictures on the cover as well.
thebuddahman
Just to confirm what the bloke above said really, they did /1000 of each cover. I think there were 2 variations on the picture.
bruins4ever
Ok cool, thanks guys. I love the songs on that record.
manicdogbert
they're good songs but i think the "finished" versions (77 Satellites on the bonus 7" with Static Prevails and Opener on the Emo Diaries Vol 1 comp) are far better than the ones on this single. negicore
The label, although do not put out records any longer, did do a myspace page which had the pressing info for all their records. *edit* just looked back, and they must have taken the pressing info off.... timpopkid
I bought this 7" from Jimmy Eat World when they opened for Sensefield & Mineral. They didn't have any covers at the time, so the bass player guy (Zach?) drew a cover for me. 1/

thebuddahman
I'd love to see that too. Sounds awesome! If you ever decide to sell it let me know! There's also another reeeally old 7" (the name escapes me at the moment) which had a white cover and the whole band did a few custom covers in coloured marker pens. The bloke from Motion City Soundtrack owned a copy and put it on eBay to raise money for a charity. Went for nearly £100!
Duff
the band's website has their entire discography, everything they ever released, but i'm not 100% sure if it includes pressing info.
timpopkid
Front Back Honestly, I'd probably consider selling it if anyone threw a hefty offer at me as I have a normal sleeve version as well, and I gave up on my complte Jimmy Eat World collection a while ago (I have everything up through the bleed american singles, then I lost interest). bruins4ever
Haha, that's really cool. I'd throw an offer at it if I didn't already have a copy, but seriously... I'd keep it. It's kind of a cool addition to your collection.
xxmartinxx
I sold that record after Clarity came out for $75, which back then was a boatload of money.
