tylerrr
i got a white copy from mwY when they played with Brand New at the Myth in 2007. i think it was $10-12, possibly $15. it hasn't ever skipped that i'm aware of. you might want to try cleaning it like one person said, then try the extra weight. it's one of the better sounding white records i own, but i still despise white vinyl too much surface noise most of the time. I'm not too sure how to go about cleaning a record... Never tried it before. What's your method good sir?
mcpherson123
Spray record with this: http://www.amazon.com/Pfanstiehl-SA-14-Pfan-Stat-Record-Cleaning/dp/B001MM797M I usually give 2 to 3 good sprays at a distance that will allow the projection of the solution to span the entire groove area of the record. Wipe said record in a circular fashion using force at your own discretion with this: http://www.amazon.com/Carbon-Record-Clea....535282&sr=8-15 Wipe soot and debris from brush after spin wiping record. Repeat a few times. Add solution as needed but you shouldn't have to add too much. Spin dry each side at 78 RPM. Feel free to touch the brush down on the record surface lightly as record spins. This has generally been my system for close to a year. Mild variations occur as my superstitious nature dictates. The solution, I can recommend. The brush I have is velvet like the linked one but made my the same company that makes the solution. There are many other solutions and brushes. Shop around. Good luck.
