bicyclepirate
I´m going to be in Branford, CT (near New Haven) for about a week. Any record store recommendations in that area? I like a lot of stuff, so stores that don´t have a lot of punk/hardcore are cool too.
xjustinz
Cutlers record shop in New Haven http://www.cutlers.com/
xjustinxschwierx
pm Flood too, he probably knows all the stores in the area!
recordsarestupid
REDSCROLL RECORDS in wallingford, CT. best in ct, without a doubt. their address and hours are here. www.redscrollrecords.com
casey
Red Scroll is backed. I've never been personally, but Josh throws their inventory (pretty great, btw) up in the Sale Forum and has always been solid to deal with.
flood
redscroll is the best by far... cutlers is kinda weak/overpriced... trash american style is supposedly open for a couple days this week (www.trashamericanstyle.com) and they have shit you won't find anywhere else... they owned like 3 copies of the Chung King lp for awhile.. theres a couple other small ones... merles record rack in milford, brass city records in waterbury, but overall redscroll is your best bet... and the dudes who run it do great shit for the scene in general
jcamps
ha this is like the third time a thread like this has been on here. brass city has a tiny bit of 70s/80s punk but its mostly cheap classic rock stuff and rare expensive pysch/oop. rip phoenix records. tylerrtv
oh and if you're into jazz, hit up Integrity n Music in Wethersfield CT. tons of jazz, plus a lot of classic rock and whatnot. not really my thing but if you're into that stuff then this place is a beast.
