  1. My gets: 7" Green Day / Husker Du Coliseum / Superchunk Bad Brains Silverstein Opeth Pearl Jam Flogging Molly Rival Schools Off! 10" Machine Head Mumford and Sons 12" Foo Fighters Deftones Mastodon Bouncing Souls
  2. Phoenix Records in Waterbury is pretty awesome.
  3. I have a first press of this. First press was sky marble blue and (i think) clear. I have the blue one. The major difference is that the labels have album artwork as opposed to that generic Victory Records stickers that their represses got for a long time.
  4. That Gaslight track does not have a third track but the live version of SOLAT is awesome, esp. since I was at that particular show and myself and my brother seemed to be the only people giving a shit they were covering one of Pearl Jam's best songs. On a similar topic, anyone have a copy of the Old White Lincoln 7" they might want to trade / sell? I have an extra of the Great Expectations 7" listed above and some other stuff if anyone is interested, let me know. It would pretty much round out my collection minus variants of the full lengths and second pressings of the demo 7" 's.
  5. make the slipmat, please. we will carry them for sure. Fuck I wish I was serious...someone do it!
  6. Virgil, I think you should give the option to add beef jerky to any order, kinda like the way Fat gives you the option to add posters to orders. Opening up records AND having a snack to fucking LOVE while listening to new records? I think this is the business pitch you've been looking for. If interested, I've also been tinkering with a "Jump to Conclusions" slipmat.
  7. got mine today and the ramones cover, thanks! my 7" has the labels switched but whatever, sounds great.
  8. Just ordered the methadones 7" as well as the capital signal corps lp and the black cross lp...any chance of a ramones cover in there? if you need more info let me know. - kevin
  9. nice, being able to grab the Dillinger 4 vs. God on silver combined with the 10 off coupon got me to get 3 D4 LP's...awesome!. Thanks Virgil!
  10. slightly unrelated, what cd's have this?
  11. Have a second copy of the 59 Sound re-release (with the Pearl Jam cover). Looking for a copy of the Old White Lincoln 7" to round out my collection. Anyone? Worth a shot.
  12. Those look great. Any place to get a tour version of the frirst 7" that's not ebay?
  13. wheres a link? was at this show and love this pearl jam song.
  14. Man all I've done is watch all stores close. Slipped Disc in Valley Stream, a big time destination store, closed last year. So much of my collection was purchased there. The None of the Above Store, Dave Punkcore's store, etc. Utopia still sells records but that's not their main source of income. Mr. Cheapo's in Mineola has started to expand it's vinyl after it's shitty garage sale selection of Cher and Kenny Rogers, but it's still not a priority there, which makes no sense. I'd be really into a store but Suffolk is more than likely a bit of a hike for me - I live pretty close to Queens.
  15. Load and Re-load do have a lot of filler but they also have some amazing songs. "The Outlaw Torn" and "Bleeding Me" are epic and 2 of my favorite songs they've ever recorded.
  16. Haven't listened yet by the dumb motherfucker who delivers my mail on Fridays decided to once again place my mail in the side door that is not used / does not shut properly instead of the provided mailbox and front door. I woke up to a severely waterlogged box laying in my driveway. Thankfully, this wasn't ruined. Went to the post office to kindly ask them to use the blatantly available front door.
  17. thread points out to me how many amazing albums this band has. suffer, no control, generator, against the grain, recipe for hate, stranger than fiction are all amazing and even the recent ones when they picked up brooks wackerman are solid. band, thankfully, doesn't quit.
  18. great news, not great price. info says doors at 9, show at 10...whats that about? anyone else playing?
  19. here's the question - to take the tape out of the plastic. i see no reason not to. o'brien mix is solid, can really hear a lot more of what is going on. even flow in particular sounds better, eddies' voice doesn't sound as linear. still prefer the re-recording done for the single though.
  20. amazing box set, the remaster of ten sounds different...but to me, it's really low in volume. anyone else? compared to the live lp, i have to crank the volume a lot more.
