casey
It's good. Anyone else heard Brutalist Bricks? Do you like it? I think it might be my second fave by TL/Rx.

martyk36
I was a little disappointed by living with the living...it was a little too all over the place for me. there were 2-3 songs that shouldn't have been on that album. still some great songs on that record though. tanukichu
It's a'ight. I like it better than the last album. I have a feeling this will be a grower for me. I already liked what I heard live when I saw him back in December.
ericheartsu
out of all 13 tracks, there is one that is a stinker, and it's a weirdo song. the rest of them, fucking flawless. the first two songs are fucking gold.

electricsnow
Downloaded this on a whim. Hadn't really listened to much Ted Leo. Sounds great to me though.
martyk36
verdict is still out for me. need more time. i like it though agree. definetly sounds louder than a lot of his other stuff...sounds really bass heavy but that might just be b/c I'm listening to this on headphones. scotterson
I really didn't like Living with the Living, so this has got to blow that out of the water. I love Ted Leo, but I can really be content living off of Tyranny and STS, and sometimes Hearts of Oak for good measure, so I'm not expecting too much from this. ericheartsu
Also i think this is the first record with marty (ex young pioneers), and Ian (ex nation of ulysses), so again, BACKED.

martyk36
Also i think this is the first record with marty (ex young pioneers), and Ian (ex nation of ulysses), so again, BACKED. that makes sense, sounds like there are different people playing on this. favorite tracks so far are One Polariod a day, Gimme the wire, Buzzing of Bees. casey
I agree that his falsetto is noticeably absent, although the harmonies they've incorporated are a nice touch. My favorite songs are The Mighty Sparrow, Bottled in Cork, and One Polaroid a Day.
