smoked meat.

strip club.

poutine.

those are the best things in montreal.

in that order!

this.

for poutine go to La Banquise (best poutine in quebec, and probably in canada, it will be like having sex with a meal): http://www.restolabanquise.com/

if you like museums, Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal: http://www.mbam.qc.ca/fr/index.html

for smoke meat: Schwartz's

and if you have the money, you should def go to a habs game, but yeah that's if you have the money..because tickets prices are insane here.

for shows: www.sizeemup.com/thebored

bars: foufounes electriques, on ste catherine street, near st-laurent street. tuesday nights are the best. cover is 4 bucks, pitchers are 5 bucks, great vibe, awesome music (goes from hiphop to punk/ska/hardcore) and, great people.

if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

have fun !

Dude.

Topless breakfast - three locations, although I've only ever been to "Princesses" near Pie-IX.

The Bio Dome is pretty rad. Check the capybara and the penguins.

Depending on your tastes and what you are after, Montreal has some awesome record shopping. I recommend Cheap Thrills if you go anywhere. Also good - 33 Aux Tours, Beatnicks and Phonopolis.

The Montreal Contemporary Art Museum is currently featuring Marcel Dzama http://www.macm.org/en/expositions/76.html

(Go on Wednesday night - it's free!)

Also, foufounes is awesome, but Sports Central downtown is good if you are closer to Concordia if only for the fact that the tables have a built in tap. Beware getting loser drunk in the middle of the afternoon.

Cheers

stop at la belle province and order 2 all dressed hotdogs and a poutine

go to the old port

shop for records - as mentioned, beatnicks, cheap thrills, soundcentral, x20, sonik, primitive

all in walking distance of each other

musee des beaux arts is a must. As well as the Musée d'archéologie et d'histoire de Montréal Pointe-à-Callière < awesome museum

there's so much stuff to do in Montreal, I wish I was there right now. I miss my family
