----------------------

Long story short, my school just gave me a free MacBook Pro, and as it's physically customized by Apple for my particular University (has school's logo engraved on the case, as well as a red Apple logo instead of white), I'm selling my "old" one (~8 months old). It is the base 13", with HDD and RAM upgraded by Apple. Specs are as follows:

-13.3", glossy glass covered screen, 1280 x 800 with LED backlighting

-English (US) Keyboard

-Aluminum unibody case

-2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor

-250GB 5400RPM HDD

-4GB 1066MHz DDR3 memory

-Built-in iSight camera

-8x slot-loading SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)

-Built-in 60-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery (112 cycles)

-OS X 10.6 disc included (Snow Leopard)

Other specs that I'm not gonna list (ports, etc): http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/specs-13inch.html

This computer is currently under warranty through June of this year. AppleCare can still be purchased any time between now and then, which would extend the length of the warranty to three years.

All paper/boxes/discs that came with the computer are included, as well as the aforementioned Snow Leopard disc which was bought after the computer. Also comes with the 60W MagSafe power brick, as well as the power extension cable. (The power brick and extension cable will be brand new, never used)

Internally speaking, the computer is awesome. Very fast, reliable machine. I love it, but obviously have no need for two of them. I didn't do any of the upgrades myself (bought the computer BTO through their store), so if there is an issue with them, it should be covered by Apple.

Cosmetically speaking, the computer is in good shape. There is one light scratch on the center bottom of the case. It is not deep enough to feel when running my finger over the bottom, but it is noticeable by eye. Not sure where it came from, but it's there. The lock hole also has some wear/scratching on the inside caused by use of a lock, though it is not noticeable unless you're examining the inside of the hole itself. I only currently have my phone as a camera, and I can get a decent picture of the scratch, but am unable to photograph the inside of the lock hole. If there is some serious interest, I can try and get some better photos taken.

Brand new from Apple, this computer runs $1350+tax. I'm asking $1000. (Prefer to deal here than eBay, but if the response here is lukewarm, I'll take it to eBay in a day or two)

Thanks.
