soulgrowl
So I have had this sitting around in a box forever, and have never seen another copy for sale or been able to find out any info about it. I know all about the Slips and Tangles cassette tape, but the poetry book is an enigma. It is entitled "Everything You Do: Poems by John K. Samson". It is a book of JKS poems in zine form, 28pages, published by Plap Press out of Winnipeg. Contains the following poems: -I Am -Socrates, The Young Offender -Sounds Familiar -Friend -On the Futility of Distance and Filing Cabinets -The Heart Is a Badly Built Bridge -Lo Ve -Sometimes on Nights Like These -Location -Deceived -Reconstruction Site (different than the song) -The Clinic -I Walk Myself to Sleep -Summer Tour, 1994 -Failure and Return -Road Trip -Employee in Training -The Morning Mantra of Naomi Lakritz -Stalling -Small Completion Has any one ever seen this? Would anyone care to make an offer on either of these items or both?
soulgrowl
Whoever sent me that PM about this, I accidentally deleted all my PMs, but I did read your message and would like you to get back in touch! Thanks!
patron
I would love to have this, but I don't think I could ever afford what you want for it!

soulgrowl
Last copy of the cassette on ebay went for $120, still no sign of the poetry book. Accepting offers though, not necessarily looking for insane amounts, but not sure i want to let it go.
steventangent
I, too, would love the book. Or, I'd love to at least be able to read it. hah.
scarnage
I had the cassette, lent it to a co-worker, never saw it again! It was a pretty neat feeling walking across the Maryland bridge as the song was playing in my walkman. Someone may have filled you in about the book already but once thing I can tell you is the name Plap press (likely) comes from the fanzine "Plap = Crap" (Formerly "Passivity=Compliance") that Jon and Todd Scarth put out in the early/mid 90s.
