Guest Admin
Jeff Pritchard is our vinyl collector of the day. Jeff is an example of someone who hasn't been collecting as long as others, but he still has an interesting story. With a collection under 100 records, Jeff's answers are just as interesting to me as those of collectors who have thousands of records. I really hope this feature inspires others with smaller collections to send in their answers. Jeff took the time to answer our questions on why he collects vinyl, thoughts on trading/selling, thoughts on colored vinyl, his most prized records, his greatest score, and more. Thanks Jeff for taking the time to answer our questions. You, too, can answer our questions and submit your Vinyl Collector of the Day feature. What are you waiting for? You can find the questions here http://www.vinylcollective.com/2010/07/20/submit-your-vinyl-collector-of-the-day-feature-2-new-questions-added/ One thing everyone, I really like it when people send photos of themselves with their records. I would love to encourage more photos like that but if you want to send in your photos of just your records, send in 2 photos. motionisntmeaning
Nice! I wish I could find a copy of AITA for 20 bucks, it would complete my Thrice collection. Lucky!
themean
Good answer on variants. Still sad to see a collection this size with that many variants.
smailtronic
Curious how he reconciles his thoughts on variants with wanting to start an Against Me collection. Or was that a joke?
One Hundred Fifty-Two
If you aren't joking about the against me collection hit me up.
croy
maybe he doesn't care about am! variants, just wants one copy of each. good answers, dude, keep it up!
underoath23
Yeah, I know my collection is rather small in comparison to most people on here. I plan on selling off some of my duplicates/variants to fund more purchases, but all my duplicates are pretty easy to come across so i don't know if they're worth selling right now as nobody wants them. circlingvultures
That doesn't mean you can't trade them for other records. I trade common records all the time. If you want to start an AM! collection that might work out well. At least one press of most of their records is easily attainable. Post a thread in the sales forum with what you are looking to get rid of and what type of stuff you are looking for. Also, sorry in advance with how much money you will spend browsing the sales threads.

Also, sorry in advance with how much money you will spend browsing the sales threads. Yeah, I noticed that most AM! records are easy to obtain. I'll definately have to put my common duplicates up and see what I can get. Thanks man!
