donlombardo
Cool. Both my 238 vinyl will be white
danalive
Nice I'm a fan of white vinyl and apparently so is chris staples. That's the reason we picked it for one of the colors.

donlombardo
One thing that'd be awesome would be Matter Has A Breaking Point and Missing You Dearly on vinyl...
danalive
One thing that'd be awesome would be Matter Has A Breaking Point and Missing You Dearly on vinyl... That would definitely rule but I doubt many people would care
gmoney
Yeah. Considering how these are selling (and how the new Discover America sold) - I'm guessing we've seen the last of Chris Staples vinyl for a while - sadly. Would love Matter on vinyl! Can't wait to get my copy of this!
idiot
The new Discover America is amazing! Would love Matter Has A Breaking Point on vinyl as well!
donlombardo
Someone should do a small run of 150 or something. I wouldn't mind haveing a complete Chris Staples collection on vinyl... I'm close to it, cd wise. Need those cd-rs...
danalive
i honestly think i'd rather have "blackest hair, bluest eyes" than early 238 stuff. thats probably just me though.
donlombardo
Man, that cd is really awesome, but I think I like Matter more... But probably blackest over missing you... Order: 1. Matter Has a Breaking Point 2. S/T EP 3. Blackest Hair, Bluest Eyes (Panama and Burned and Blistered would be awesome too) 4. Missing You Dearly 5. Badlands 6. Psychology

donlombardo
Haha. I like it, I've always loved his lyrics so... The essay at the end is a bit tough to get through though. I still can't really understand his point of view on christianity.

Psychology rules, dude! It's definitely right up there with the last two 238 albums for me. Maybe that's just because it was my first exposure to Chris Staples, but I just think every song on there is great.
donlombardo
I never said that was a bad release! I just like the others a tad more... Ok, maybe psychology should get place five, but I found the other ones better! He's songwriting is brilliant on every record!
danalive
I like psychology pretty good. Pick this up if you haven't already!
