my first few listens, I thought the record was kind of out there (it is compared to their other records), but listening to it this morning, I finally got it and am really really enjoying real ghosts.

I can only compare with HFOGB...I havn't heard the albums in between, but will check them out. I only have that LP.

I actually saw them last night and they had a short set because Gaslight played an extremely long set so all they played was stuff off of Real Ghosts and honestly it sounds amazing live. Soulless and Songs for Teenagers were amazing.
