tokimedo
what does "wearable" mean? i have 5/8" plugs in, and i wanna get new ones but there are two options... 5/8" (3/8" wearable) 5/8" (5/16" wearable) what does that mean exactly? thank you in advance for any info! Guest scottyf
I'm not sure but to me it seems like the "wearable" size would be like the diameter of the part that's actually in your ear and the other size would be how big it is on the outside. are they like flared or something? punkrockvinyl25
first size is the size of your ear, 2nd is the flare. like my ears are at 1 3/4" the flare on it is just a tad bigger and if you happen to be looking for some nice organic stuff check this place out http://www.omericaorganic.com/
punkrockvinyl25
also if you plan to make em bigger and easy way to do it is using tape (electrical or teflon tape) smooth way to do it and no blow outs. or just have em cut or punched. tokimedo
cool, thanks guys. im not good at fractions but im assuming the 5/16th wearable would be the bigger of the two? haha

riddle350
the second(smaller) size is the length of the plug, so the distance between the flare and the o ring.

The second measurement lets people choose short plugs if they have skinny ears and longer plugs if they have fatter ears.
alertthemute
The wearable length is the length of the plug that is actually 5/8". 3/8ths is bigger than 5/16ths. It just depends how much of the plugs you want hanging out on either end of your lobes.
