icecream
I thought I remember someone on here saying jake has the rights to the sharks stuff and it's just a matter of time before it's re-pressed.
Guest afsdan
Only album not on vinyl is Pause and Clause (their best work, duh), which I contacted Status Records about possibly releasing this gem. It would have been an expensive endeavor. If Jake has the rights from Status, he must've paid back the label.
rawkuout
I'd buy any and all represses from them.
rodeojones
That's funny I never even thought to look for Sharks vinyl. Just bought Desert Strings and Drifters as we speak! Good album
northernfailure
Yea didn't SN just press one of their records... around the time they pressed the first Old Canes album I think.
themean
This band was infinitely better than Minus the Bear (and State Route 522.)

djones0930
This band was infinitely better than Minus the Bear (and State Route 522.) Haha maybe State Route 522 and MTB's OMNI, but not better than what MTB released from their EPs to Menos el Oso (Planet of Ice is stretching it in my opinion). Actually, this topic reminded me I have the State Route 522 7"...Jake never had much of an 'amazing' voice on the earlier records, but anytime I play Sharks Keep Moving or MTB for a female's ears, they love it. vinyljunkie
This band was infinitely better than Minus the Bear (and State Route 522.) This statement is backed extremely hard (state route 522 was good though)
themean
I like both MTB and SR22 just fine, but Jake really nailed it with SKM. Especially the full length. MTB has too much keyboards and big rock choruses. Jake never had much of an 'amazing' voice on the earlier records, but anytime I play Sharks Keep Moving or MTB for a female's ears, they love it. Played with SR22 a couple times. The ladies went crazy.

I think our opinions could be based on what was first heard. I became heavily into MTB before SKM. When I finally listened to SKM, I definitely got a hard on. It's fucking great, but I already heard the similar sounds from listening to MTB. You're probably the opposite, which makes total sense haha Either way, these bands/sounds are amazing and bitchez luv it so letz dantz! Yeah. OMNI was such a disappointment Agreed... I saw OMNI for 50% off at my local record store... I was kinda blown away. Still wouldn't buy it though.
