jgel
Has anyone ordered from Juno.co.uk how is shipping?
benjo09
Only ordered a box set once and it came battered. Packaging was OK though with no damge.
pjaicomo
I hate that they put stickers on everything that leave residue.
jimmyg
I order from them quite regularly and have never had a problem to be honest, I guess it depends if you're really bothered about a slight corner ding as they usually ship single LP's in thin cardboard mailer
jgel
OK I placed an order for 2 records. Let see how they do with shipping to the US. I will post back when they arrive.
jgel
Well, my order from 12/31/2010 has not arrived yet This is not looking good. I have been emailing back and forth and today I got this reply... We have some more information regarding our issues with US deliveries. Since November, when two parcel bombs were intercepted on the way to the US, Homeland Security have said that no cargo (other than letters and printed material) can travel on passenger planes into the USA. This means that all parcels since the end of November have been sent by surface mail i.e. ships which can take up to 6 weeks unfortunately. We are in the process of doing a deal with FedEx to our US mail freighted in and then redistributed by the USPS but in the meantime we are suffering long delays because of the new restrictions. Once again, please accept our apologies for the wait on this, and if you do not want these when they arrive, we completely understand and will take them back with a full refund of all costs. Thanks, Customer Service Juno Records

salaho
That's a bit odd? I've sent several packages to the US this year and they've got there in about a week - 10 days as usual!!!

Ditto but I have also seen places mentioning the whole parcel bomb thing and new regulations. I think I read somewhere that its triggered by weight but I'm not sure. skutch
I've had no problems shipping from the UK to the US but I have had a lot of delays going to Australia where it's taking about 3-4 weeks to show up. Weird!
suchashorttime
don't mean to be a thread hijacker, but is this a possible reason for my amazon.co.uk order taking more than a month?
jgel
don't mean to be a thread hijacker, but is this a possible reason for my amazon.co.uk order taking more than a month? No big deal. If Amazon is taking so long maybe there is something to this. 5 weeks waiting for 2 records sucks.
