  1. I wanted to come back and say how nice this release turned out. Like the label hate the label I don't care, but this is a VERY nice release. I never thought I would see this on vinyl and to have it like this is just great. A very nice release. Please release the rest of the back catalog. Would love to hear the story of getting the OK for this release and how Portnoy felt about it.
  2. I see you are nuts like me about this band. But FII gets a bad rap and I would LOVE to see it on vinyl as well.
  3. I listened to this after I saw the post. After taking the time to listen 2x's through I have to say it is terrible. Who was the label going after with this release? I'm not one to judge what others listen to, but this is really bad. REALLY bad.
  4. Wow I bet everything you enjoy is total gold. It's sad that thinking like this is around. Opinions really are like ass holes. Everyone has one and most of them stink. Don't buy it if you don't want it. It will give you more money for the next Pedro the Lion 7".
  5. We even included the locked groove from the end of the last track. We spent alot of time on attention to detail. Thanks for the support Do we have any details on how many are being printed? Is there going to do a limited run? Any colors? And any plans to print the back catalog as well? PLEASE
  6. Oh Shit, is this a joke. My all time fav. band and their best album. This has to be a dream. I can't believe this. What a great day.
  7. I did, but I didn't find detailed instructions. But from what I read I need to buy a soldering iron. Also, is it worth it to upgrade the power cord to a new 3 prong cord?
  8. I have a Thorens TD 145 table and the audio cables (origional ???) are making that dreaded noise when moved. Has anyone here replaced these before?
  9. I heard this was an issue. I also read that because of the compression the highs are lost in the mix.
  10. Well from what I have read, the VS repress sounds like crap compared to the OG release. You sir got a good deal.
  11. This is the type of shit I listen to. I really like COLD. Not gonna get this on vinyl but still like the band a lot. This board does not get a lot of "mainstream" music posts, but it is the best place I have found to discuss records. I was also surprised to see COLD in a thread title, but I remember someone asking an Owl City pressing question not that long ago
  12. Is this the old one or the newer slim model?
  13. Toad the Wet Sprocket - Fear Candlebox - S/T and Lucy Nick Drake - Pink Moon (Simply Vinyl)
  14. My #1 want in the world. Still trying to figure out which pressing I want.
  15. Trying to get any info anyone has any the Dream Theater pressings of Images and Words. I see that there was a Brazil pressing and a Korean pressing and I believe a pressing from Greece. Can anyone confirm this? Also, is one better than the other? I guess what is the difference? Also, is it the same is Awake? I just am trying to figure out what is what before I drop $100+ on each one.
  16. All colored copies of this are bootlegs. I did not remember an orange pressing, but when the last post went up I checked eBay and just thought I was wrong. I didn't remember an official colored pressing.
  17. Music on Vinyl did not do a pressing on orange. If there is an orange release, it would have to have been a long gone pressing so check eBay and good luck. http://cgi.ebay.com/EDDIE-VEDDER-INTO-WI....item2c5c4c5 112 7 hours left on this one...
  18. I think Music on Vinyl makes some of the best quality records around. I will always check to see if MOV has a release before I make a purchase. Prices can get a little high but worth it for the quality. The Into the Wild release is very nice.
  19. Does anyone still have one of these left, or am I going to eBay. I went out looking for this and the Nirvana record and struck out. Please let me know if anyone still has one.
  20. I have been waiting for Dream Theater's AWAKE. $150 - $200 on eBay every time. I just can't do it. $50 has been my max for wax.
  21. OK this is at the top of my wants. Does anyone here have any of their stuff for sale? Please let me know.
  22. I like to hear about others stories so here is mine... So I was in Pittsburgh, PA today and decided to hit up Jerry's records. I was fired up. Records everywhere. The place is big. And the selection was vast. Huge. But I didn't find anything super. They might not have the record you are looking for, but if they do they will have 5 copies to look through. I know if I were to spend 5 hours there I could have found a few gems. But I could not get used to the lay out. Too many different categories and sub categories. Then Top seller sections. The place seems to be too large to use the current file system its using. Anyway, cool store and worth a visit if not to see the size and the eclectic selection. Prices are good. 4-8 bucks per record and many lower. Seem to have a few rare items, but eBay seems to eat most of them.
