kouka Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Smash records and Asylum is a cool rock bar with awesome vegan food (if you're into it). as for shows, there's a kick ass on happening Friday night: Lemuria, Pulling Teeth, Magrudergrind and Give @ St Stephen's Church. struckanerve Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 yes! that show is gonna rule. apparently, wont be many tix at the door if you do decide... smash and crooked beat moved digs recently; smash moved downstairs and CB down the street a block or two. both on 18th st in adams morgan, along with asylum. theres a lot of sports bars in most areas, vetnor cafe on 18th is a cool place. im sure theres a patriots bar somewhere..... And if you've never seen the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial it truly is amazing. The sheer number of names on that thing is mind boggling.
