nickbuysvinyl
I just watched the whole series. I started renting them and just now finished them. What other good, one season shows are there? I'm moving on to Undeclared next, i just wanted to know where to go from there
scottheisel
Sports Night was two seasons, but I still highly recommend it -- it's my all-time favorite television show. Aaron Sorkin (West Wing, Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip) created it and it barely lasted two seasons on ABC because it was too smart and fast-paced for most of America. Absolutely brilliant show. More recently, I'd endorse The Office (BBC) and Extras, both created by Ricky Gervais. Each show lasted only two seasons and each season is only 6 episodes, so you can plow through 'em pretty quickly (I actually just did a BBC Office marathon today and just finished an hour ago). nickbuysvinyl
i heard alot about sports night and even remember when it was on, but never got a chance to catch it. Will do on that. I started watching the Office and Extras online but the site got shut down.
boizee
Undeclared is pretty good, though Apatow still talked about how much he was upset that F&G was canceled when it aired. Very awesome you checked out F&G, though...by far, far, far my favorite show!
mrbananagrabber
Spaced is a good 2 season show (its the guys who did shaun of the dead/hot fuzz) and i also very much enjoyed Stella though, if you're into that type of comedy you've most likely seen it already
hickey
Freaks and Geeks was killer. I would recommend Sports Night as well. And, if you have time for 29 episodes, get the full series of Twin Peaks. I bought it and I think my wife and I watched it in two weeks. That is one of my favorite shows of all time. ericheartsu
weeds is blowing my mind right now. I was into the black donnellys but the end is shitty. also entourage fucking rules too.
andywax
entourage fucking rules too. I love that show too. Freaks and Geeks was one of the best shows on TV. I bought the super limited "year book" DVD box set. At least Judd Apatow and Paul Feig knew that they were going to be cancelled and had an ending for the show. By the way, if you really like Freaks and Geeks, you should read Paul Feigs books: Kick Me and Superstud. Half that show was based on his life. jhulud
Firefly. If you're into sci-fi with a campy western style, you'd like this.
nickbuysvinyl
So, think next up, after Undeclared will be Sports Night. I liked Black Donnellys when it was on TV, so i might actually end up picking up the set. Like the Office and Extras, I started watching Spaced online, but, again, the site got shut down. I bought Stella the day it was released. keep the suggestions coming. I'm making a list
