lokithelion
http://www.the1stfive.com/news/mtv-bringing-back-120-with-matt-pinfield This makes sense. We'll show it once a month. That'll bring in the viewers.
almightyseancore
well thats...kinda exciting. 120 minutes is without a doubt the best thing mtv has ever done, and it will be interesting to see what they choose to play in terms of modern music. it's lame that it's only on M2, but it's cool that pinfeild is back. i was just wondering what this guy was up to a few days ago. lokithelion
He's worked in radio for a couple years and is a legendary A&R guy. For some reason I want to say he had something to do with signing Against Me.

pastepunk
Can't imagine I'd ever go back to watching videos on TV... talk about a habit shift!
tonyregret
pretty cool. I wonder if they will show classic alternative videos from the 80s and 90s to go along with the newer stuff
lokithelion
Can't imagine I'd ever go back to watching videos on TV... talk about a habit shift! I'd buy cable again. I like the rotation of new content and getting exposed to new things. Even as a music journalist who gets exposed to new stuff constantly. flood
i used to love 120 minutes, i remember going to the record store almost every week the day after it aired to pick up a new cd that debuted on the show... and then later on seeing bands i knew personally being played on the show.. it was pretty awesome.
